BEWARE! Chevy Colorado: GM officially released a service bulletin addressing the coolant leak at the upper radiator hose. It is a “known defect" rather than wear-and-tear. Landers, the Chevy dealership in Joplin, Mo., is aware of this problem, which bulletin PIT6494A documented. They did not stand behind their product but instead charged me over $500. I was disappointed that they did not stand behind their product!
Called service (Corey) and told him the check engine light had come on a the temp gauge was only at 160. He quickly got me end and had the problem fixed the next day. Great service.
quick oil change under an hour friendly staff ....just didnt care for the stuff they told me was wronng with truck but its not their fault just wear and tear is all
I had a positive experience with this dealership, which I would rate as five stars. I found a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt LT sedan online, listed at a fair market price. The salesperson, Chance, was kind and professional. After a test drive, I was pleased with the vehicle's condition, considering its age and mileage. The engine had life left, transmission shifted smoothly, and brakes stopped the car without issue. After Carvana delayed our delivery for the second time, we decided to check out Landers to see our options. Very professional service and exceeded my expectations. Located two issues I was unaware of that indeed need to be addressed on my 2016 Silverado as normal maintenance. Corey was very helpful all throughout the process. Being from out of town it was a pleasure to have confidence in the experience from the parking lot gentleman who very kindly showed me to the Service Department to the completion.
I was treated with respect and courtesy. The reason for my visit was because I had no heat coming out of driver's side vent. When I received my vehicle back not only did I not have heat coming out of driver's side but now I had no heat at all and my BCI was on. They recommended I take to Nissan because they were unable to use diagnostic test analysis. I took to Nissan they did diagnostic analysis test and the results showed I had a blown fuse and need new air motor for driver's side.
Critters chewed up my wiring on my EV car. Fortunately, the light came on and I took it in to have it checked out. They found the chewed wiring and would not let me drive home. They provided a loaner car for me so I wasn't stranded. This occurred over Thanksgiving, so a lot of time was lost. Best experience I ever had buying a new car staff stayed late and took great care of us.
Corey did an excellent job with handling my needs for my vehicle. Not only did he take care of my check engine light, he seen that the recall was taken care of also. I ordered the part for the recall at local dealership in June. Hearing about this he contacted the parts to see if they had the part then asked me if I would like to get the recall taken care of. I am greatly appreciative for the service and will be back for any future needs of my vehicle.

Briefly…I’m shopping an hour from home, driving a suburban that someone tried to steal at the KC airport but failed after stripping all the wires in the steering column. Today was the first time I needed to use the windshield wipers after the car being repaired locally and then they wouldn’t turn off. Wouldn’t even slow down. The Service department went above and beyond to solve the issue on my 2019 silverado.
I had a repair scheduled for 9:30 am and was told that I would be able to be shuttled back home and then picked up when the service was done. When I showed up I was told that they had no shuttle, they apparently called at 8:30 am but didn't bother to leave me a message. Then I was told they didn't have a transmission specialist in that day so they may not be able to change my fluid and filter. A job I have seen amateur Cadillac owners do in their garage at home. Everyone was so kind and very understanding that I was a first time car buyer.
When I called to make an appointment, the service dept. was able to work on my car the following business day. My car was picked up and returned so I didn't have to leave work. I received a detailed description of the work that was done and any issues my car was having are now resolved. Everyone was friendly and does a fantastic job! This is why we continue to purchase cars from Landers.
Cory got us in the same day, he has always been efficient and helpful over the years.

Refused to help me with warranty work for my Chevy Silverado black widow. Sca performance would have dealt directly with them and paid for the service, and I was refused. Ended up having to go to roper to have it done. We will never use this Chevy dealer again.

Noticed that my drivers side front lug nuts were visibly loose and 4 of the six moved to finger pressure. Things can be over looked. Just glad I noticed it before a major accident happened.

Friday at 3:30 PM while driving though Joplin on way to Ohio, I felt a slight slapping sensation in the front end when I applied the brakes. I called Landers Service Mgr. Tom who got me in right in to find a completely blown out Bushing holding the A-Arm. They got the parts ordered that night, got them first thing in the morning and had them replaced including and alignment by 10:22 AM that very next morning. The car has never driven better! Why do you make appointments if you don't atempt to keep them. My appointment was for Thursday at 8 AM and it was Tuesday afternoon before you even looked at it. You had my car for 6 days only to be told, can't find anything, that will be $150.

My truck not to be sold till it went threw the. Shop sence I got it last month it been shop more than have had it . And is now back in the shop again . When I had my vehicle in to be fixed the first part of the year I had to recall and said I wanted it fixed and they didn’t do it. The service people are not taking care of the customers very well. They caused my one headlight to go out and instead of putting what I had in it before they put a cheap one in.
We were treated very professionally with concern and friendliness. Since the car had to remain overnight they gladly supplied a loaner without us asking for one. They kept us informed how the work was going and called as soon as it was finished.

Never top off fluids when getting your oil changed. Rotate tires but never recalibrated them. Had a known issue with my blazer appointment was at 10:30 didn’t leave the dealership until 2 as they made me wait saying my extended warranty had to approve but my car was still covered under the bumper to bumper. Was going to make me pay. The service person at the desk was rude. Will never take my vehicle back there again.

I was sold a warranty that I was told would cover any problems that may arise. I was told that I was mistaken and told my warranty covers other problems but not the one I was experiencing.

Spent a thousand dollars on tires, was not informed I didn’t get road hazard warranty, drove over something sharp that cut my tire and you didn’t offer to replace the tire, instead I got a patch that will not work! Very disappointed in your service and probably will not be returning!
10/10 would recommend. Tom was phenomenal as well as Austin. They made sure to take care of everything!
