Every XT4 is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo engine with 237 horsepower and 258 ft.-lbs of torque. A nine-speed automatic sends that power to the wheels. This allows the XT4 to achieve 30 mpg on the highway and 24 mpg in the city. A twin-clutch all-wheel-drive system is available for drivers who prefer extra control of their XT4. Choosing the all-wheel-drive system only reduces fuel economy by one to two miles per gallon depending on driving conditions. There are also selectable driving modes and available active sport suspension to make the XT4 perform exactly how you’d like it to.

The 2020 XT4 is available in nine beautiful colors: Radiant Silver Metallic, Autumn Orange Metallic, Crystal White Tricoat, Red Horizon Tintcoat, Shadow Gray Metallic, Stellar Black Metallic, Twilight Blue Metallic, Garnet Red Metallic, and Silver Dusk Metallic.

The interior is equally as beautiful with light platinum gray and jet black leatherette on the luxury model. If you choose the premium luxury model you get your choice of light platinum gray, jet black, or Sedona brown, all with mini-perforated inserts. The sport model gives you the most choice with five different interior combinations ranging from cinnamon and red accents to the same brown, gray, and black seats found on the premium luxury model.

The new Cadillac XT4 is incredibly safe. The automatic emergency braking systems can help alert you to potential collisions and help reduce the severity of a collision by automatically applying emergency braking if you haven’t already done so, or enhancing the driver’s braking. The available rear camera mirror allows you to use either the traditional inside rearview mirror or a camera display in the mirror that provides a wide, unobstructed view to check for traffic. This is especially useful when your backseat is full of passengers or you are carrying lots of cargo in the trunk. The safety alert seat is one of the most unique features found on the Cadillac XT4 but is also one of the most helpful. Very few, in any, vehicles in the XT4’s class utilize this technology! The safety alert seat uses subtle vibrations to left, right, or both sides of the driver’s seat to warn you of potential dangers. The best part is that the safety alert seat is standard across all models!

Other advanced safety technologies include the adaptive cruise control system. The system can automatically adjust the XT4’s speed to maintain the selected distance between you and the detected vehicle ahead while you steer. This feature minimizes driver fatigue and leaves you rested for your arrival at your destination. The head-up display is a full-color reconfigurable display that projects key selectable information right on the windshield. This means you never have to take your eyes off the road!
