2020 mid-engine 2020 Corvette vs. the competition ‘ Landers Chevrolet Cadillac of Joplin
By now, we’ve all seen the introduction of the pristine 2020 Chevrolet Corvette, and we can NOT wait to see this baby in person. Most sports vehicles with similar features and performance can cost you a pretty penny, going for well over $100,000. But you can get the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray for under $60,000! No, we cannot make this stuff up. Now the question is…can this Chevrolet Corvette match the overpriced competitors? Let’s find out! Spoiler alert: it definitely can.
Start with the foundation. The Chevrolet Corvette’s front fascia is attractive at first glance, we can’t deny that. The impressive grille creates a bold presence with the sharp looking hood and unique headlights, with a low stance that’s similar to the NSX and the Audi R8. Now that the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette is a mid-engine vehicle, you can see all the new features better than before.
Let’s be real, you drive a sports car for looks at well, even though this 2020 Corvette has killer performance. It’s all in the details. With this mid-engine vehicle, the 2020 Corvette now has a high mounted rear wing for increased downforce. The taillights have an incredible, unique shape that flows into the to the character lines of the bodywork, along with awesome dual exhaust tips. The NSX, meanwhile, features small taillights that are bridged by a light bar and the R8 has its taillights at the rear wing.
Now let’s get to the interior. It’s what’s on the inside that counts, right? The 2020 Chevrolet Corvette sure does make a statement with its interior alone. The seat belts even have some pretty crazy color options. You also get a 20-button center console. The touchscreen is even slanted towards the driver, making it easier to have everything you need with a touch of a button. The NSX features a more tired and traditional interior, while the R8 does not have a center screen at all.
These are just some of the top points of how we think the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette can stand with the best of them. We sure can’t wait to have the new 2020 Corvette on our lot. In the meantime, swing by Landers Chevrolet Cadillac of Joplin to view our current Chevrolet Corvette inventory.
