Chevrolet introduces the all-new 2021 Trailblazer! ‘ Landers Chevrolet Cadillac of Joplin
Drum roll please! Now introducing the all NEW 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer! Word just came down from Chevrolet that the 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer will be added to Chevy’s SUV line-up in early 2020 and we could not be more excited! Chevrolet has not come out with a new updated Trailblazer for almost 15 years now, and the changes on the next generation Trailblazer are unbeatable compared to the previous models.
The original Trailblazer was first introduced as a trim option for the Chevy Blazer in 1999. This specific trim included AM/FM stereo (big deal back then okay?), with… wait for it…a single disc CD player and optional cassette player. Other features were OnStar automatic crash response, color-keyed front and rear bumpers, leather-wrapped steering wheel with of course, cruise control. This style was discontinued when the First Generation Trailblazer came out in 2002.
The first model to officially bear the Trailblazer name as more than a trim package was based on the S-10 truck platform. All models came with four-wheel drive with an optional automatic transmission and a transfer case with the traditional 2 High, 4 High and 4 Low gearings. The First Generation Trailblazer also came with an updated interior with options including premium leather, a premium sound system and alloy wheels. First-generation Trailblazers featured a V6 engine that produced 330 lb-ft. of torque. They were known for their inline six engine option which made the Trailblazer one of the most powerful six cylinder suvs in its class. Additionally, it got around 20 miles per gallon on the highway – not too shabby for an SUV.
2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer – The 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer was designed to be a continuation of Chevrolet’s family of crossovers, slotted in between the Trax and Equinox in size, and more personable than ever before! This new model will come with an RS Trim, standard two-tone roof as well as numerous safety features, including Front Pedestrian Braking, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning. In addition it will offer standard Cruise Control Camera, Rear Vision and so much more!
