Like much of the automotive industry, Chevrolet has been making bold strides toward a cleaner, greener future, helping push the market for hybrid and all-electric vehicles forward with new designs, new charging solutions, and new battery technology.

Chevy is poised to make another huge leap into that more environmentally-responsible future on Sunday, February 14. That’s the day Chevy will finally, after months of teasing, take the wraps off the all-new, all-electric 2022 Bolt EUV electric sport utility vehicle, both of which are scheduled to be available by this summer.

The introduction of new models is all about generating buzz, and Chevy has done their part in recent months by trickling out a handful of tantalizing details about the 2022 Bolt EUV, showing only details, long-distance views and shadowy profiles of this great new all-electric SUV. While those moves have kept the excitement about this green addition to the Chevrolet stable at a fever pitch, it also has us chomping at the bit to finally get a look at the vehicle that will help map the future of tomorrow’s Chevrolet.

Seen below, check out the things that we know for sure about the 2022 Bolt EUV. It’s not a lot, but hopefully it’s enough to get you as excited as we are about the big reveal on February 14. And if you’re interested in being one of the first owners of the advanced 2022 Bolt EUV when they roll onto dealer lots later this summer, give us a call today and let’s get you pre-approved!

WALT DISNEY WORLD IS GETTING IN ON THE FUN: Giving that Disney World’s “Imagineers” have long been about showcasing the technology of the future, it makes sense that Chevrolet recently announced that they’re partnering with Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida to help host the debut of the 2022 Bolt EV and EUV on February 14. The event will be streamed live from Disney World on Chevrolet’s website and their social media channels.

YOU CAN LEAVE THE DRIVING TO YOUR BOLT: Another incredible technology that will be showcased in the 2022 Bolt EUV is General Motors’ Super Cruise autonomous driving technology. Previously found only on select Cadillac vehicles and soon to be introduced on the 2021 GMC Sierra 1500, Super Cruise lets owners drive hands-free on thousands of miles of interstate highways, with the system handling tasks like acceleration, braking and even lane-changes to overtake slower traffic. The 2022 Bolt EUV will be the first Chevrolet vehicle with Super Cruise.

THE TURN SIGNALS ARE WAY COOL: Another interesting design feature that Chevrolet has teased about the 2022 Bolt EUV in recent months are their very cool integrated running lights and turn signals. When most vehicles use separate lighting sources for running lights vs. turn signals, they’re a clever mashup on the Bolt vehicles, with the LEDs shining white when used as running lights, then switching to a flashing amber yellow color when the turn signals or hazard flashers are activated.

KEEPING AN EYE ON YOUR CHARGE WILL BE EASY: Another technological advancement that Chevrolet has teased in the last few months is the 2022 Bolt EUV is its innovative Power Flow Screen, accessible through the 2022 Bolt EUV’s in-dash touchscreen command center. In videos released by Chevy, the 2022 Bolt EUV’s Power Flow Screen is a colorful way to know exactly where you stand when it comes to how much juice in is your battery, with a charging bar, current range until empty, and more. The system even appears to show whether your Bolt EUV is sending power to only the front wheels or all four wheels at once — a teaser-within-a-teaser that hints that some 2022 Bolt EUV models may feature all-electric on-demand all-wheel drive.
