Take this list of questions with you as a handy reference when you decide to head to the dealership:

  • Can I take it for a test drive? A test drive is essential to feeling exactly how the car drives and how comfortable the ride is for you.
  • What are the safety features? Of course, this is always top of mind, especially if you will have kids riding in the vehicle. Some options are just rated better, while others have extra features.
  • Is there a wait time? Our inventory is superb, but sometimes extra features call for extra time. If you decide to custom-build your car, the wait will likely be even longer. You’ll want to make sure you’re clear upfront on what timeline to expect.
  • What are the key features? You’ll want to make sure you buy a vehicle that really caters to your lifestyle and needs, so this is a great question to ask.
  • What is the fuel economy like? Gas mileage can really affect your monthly budget, so while you might have your heart set on a certain make or model, you might prefer other options when it comes to the fuel efficiency. It’s helpful to weigh all of your options here.
  • What are my financing options? The ultimate question when it comes down to buying a new car, and we have several so you have a choice. We work with many local and national lenders as well as GM Financial.
  • What is the on-road price? This will be your price after any accessories, registration, insurance, sales tax, handling and special packages. It can all add up, so make sure you ask this ahead of time to factor into what you can afford.
  • What are the maintenance intervals? Every vehicle is different, so asking this will give you an idea of what to expect in the longer run for your vehicle. Don’t forget this one!
